I stated in a previous newsletter that each year I like to seek God for a
yearly motto. This year’s motto is “All things are mine in 09.” What
does that mean? It is a reminder that through Christ, I have a right to claim
all He has purchased for me. I am more than a conqueror through Christ. He
has made me a King and Priest. He has promised that I shall never want nor
lack for any good thing. He has promised that I can do all things through Christ.
His royal DNA flows through me. I am clothed in His righteousness and crowned
with glory. And the wonderful list goes on and on!
During my long academic career, I have taken hundreds of courses across several disciplines, but no course has ever impacted me like Communion with God. This course has been revolutionary in the sense of causing a wonderful major paradigm upheaval in my life. For this, I am so grateful and give all the glory to God. CLU and the CWG course are miracles. For a long time, I had been praying to be transformed into the image of Christ. Like Dr. Virkler, I established a list of rules that, I hoped, would help me become like Jesus. While I gained some benefit from these practices, I found myself failing continually. These failures were followed by periods of profound guilt and condemnation coupled with a sense of hopelessness and futility. Would I ever be like Jesus, or was I chasing an impossible dream? Then God, in His great mercy, led me to CWG. As I studied the material assigned in this course, I felt the scales falling from my eyes. Glory to God! I have come to understand more clearly how to hear the voice of the Lord. I often heard God’s voice prior to taking this course but frequently questioned whether it was God’s or my own voice. CWG confirmed that I was, indeed, hearing God’s voice and also taught me how to distinguish between God’s, mine, and the enemy’s voice. This was a major breakthrough for me in my walk with God. I have received deeper revelation about God’s infinite love for me. As a result of this course, I have actually sensed God’s love for me in profound ways. Through journaling, I have seen Jesus smiling at me, the Father rejoicing over me with dancing, and have felt the warmth of the Father’s arms wrapped around me as I sat on His lap. My paradigm about Jesus and the Father has radically changed. Through CWG, I have seen both Jesus’ and the Father’s Personhood. I have seen them laughing, dancing, clapping their hands, and being in the midst of their children having a wonderful time. This was a major revelation for me since the God I knew didn’t really have a personality. He was just there, like a harsh judge ready to crash an ominous arm upon me at the slightest infraction of His law. I felt no freedom under His stern gaze. I have a deeper compassion for people. When tempted to be judgmental or critical, I now stop and realize that the person before me is a creation of God and worthy of my deepest respect. I try to look at the person through the eyes of Christ. Only He knows the whole story about that person’s life. As a result, my relationships have improved as I have sought God to show me core issues when dealing with people. This has been a special blessing in dealing with family members. When an issue arises, I now journal and get God’s perspective on it. This has radically changed the way I handle situations. I have greater discernment when praying or counseling. Just as I envision Jesus in dealing with relationships, I now envision Him when I pray or counsel. I look at what He would do and how He would handle the situation. Then I imitate Him. I am more patient. When circumstances don’t go the way I’d like them to go, I am now better able to rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him to act. I am less driven. All of my life, I have been driven by perfectionism. Now, I know that my worth is a given, and that I do not have to do anything to earn it. I am more at peace with myself and with God. CWG has shown me sides of God that I did not know. He is wild about me. I have been amazed that He longs to be with me, not just wants to, but longs to. This knowledge has deepened my faith. I am absolutely certain that He has my best interests at heart, will take care of me, and will never fail me. I have used vision to enter the Presence of God in worship. These results
too have been extraordinary. I found myself by the River of Life in Heaven,
which flows, from the Throne of God. All around the river were saints worshipping
and praising the Lord. I could see the Father sitting on His throne with Jesus
at His right hand. Then, to my great surprise and delight, the Father got up
from His throne and began to dance with joy among His children. What an experience! I have called you to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. I will open doors for you to teach what you have learned in this course. Many are hungry for it but do not know where to find it. I will join you with those who are in need of this teaching. My anointing shall be upon you as you teach. You have prayed to be used to set the captives free. I have answered your prayer and will use you to set the captives free. The world is in bondage, but I have overcome the world. Share what you have learned. My verse for your life is Isaiah 61:1. I have called you to be an instrument of deliverance in My hands. For this reason you have suffered much and continue to suffer, that My compassion and understanding may flow through you. Rest in Me, for I will strengthen and deliver you. You are the apple of My eye. Rejoice that you have been chosen to serve Me. The road shall not be easy, but the reward shall be great, for many souls shall be set free because of your teaching. Many shall come into My Kingdom because of your witness. And in that day you shall know that I am the Lord Your God. Thank you so very much, dear Lord. Grant me wisdom to fulfill Your great call on my life. I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen. As you have asked, so shall it be. Thank You, Jesus!
Before taking the “Take Charge of Your Health Course,” I had experienced
divine intervention from God by way of being healed from head to toe from afflictions
that had overtaken my mind, spirit, and body. From the course, I learned that
the mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected. Most of us take our health
for granted. It is only when we face a life threatening illness that we wake
up out of the fantasy world in which we think we are invincible and indestructible.
We then find out just how fragile and delicate the human body really is. Six years ago, I was at the end of my rope. My body was riddled with disease
and depression. I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, severe
panic attacks, and insomnia. I was drinking heavily to try to ward off the
panic attacks. I was not eating, and I found it very hard to even breathe.
These afflictions were just a few of the problems I faced on a daily basis. I believe that most mental illness is frequently misdiagnosed; and is, in many cases, demonization, the influence of demonic activity. Some people become so saturated with sin and invading spirits, that they no longer have control over who and what they are. We all must remember that the body houses the spirit and soul within us and we must properly maintain all three. Don’t you think you should be responsible for your health? The CLU course “Take Charge of Your Health” will help you do that.
