Jehovah-Jireh: “My Provider”

God’s names reveal His Majesty, glory and His character.

My favorite verse in the bible of God introducing Himself is in Exodus 34:6-7. God proclaimed and declared His name and who He is to Moses;

“And He passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,  maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin.” NIV.

Calling God’s name and applying His name to my life, circumstances, marriage, job, goals, the lives of my children, family, loved ones, and my nation builds my faith and confidence in His faithfulness.

By declaring and proclaiming His name: we are giving Him adoration, and honor for who He is in our lives. No matter what the circumstances may be, we are saying to Him, “Lord, despite my situation, despite this difficulty, despite these challenges, I know you are still on the throne and I will worship and lift up your name because there is nothing impossible for you to do.”

May the declaration and proclamation of His name bring great and wonderful beginnings into our lives. May doors of victory, fulfillment, blessings, and opportunities be opened to us in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer and Proclamation

With God as my FATHER – Jehovah Jireh my provider, I will not lack any good thing in life. My FATHER has made this covenant with me; that though the young lion do hunger and thirst but those who seek the Lord shall never lack any good thing (Psalm 34:10).Jehovah Jireh will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I will never beg for bread, neither will my children and descendants beg for bread. Jehovah Jireh will meet us at the point of our needs. He will stretch forth His hand to feed and clothe my household and me. Just as the rain falls down from heaven and does not return without giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater; His promises of provisions will always flourish and blossom in my life and in the lives of my children and my descendants in Jesus name. Amen!
