About Michelle Kirby

Michelle Kirby is a retired educator and seventh-generation Floridian.  She and her husband Paul are enjoying a sojourn in North Pole, Alaska with their other home in Tallahassee, Florida.  Michelle is an author and in current publication for one of her Christian children’s books in her Uncle Martin’s Porch Tales series.  She also uses her pen to inspire others and teach literacy through her blog and website at thereadingkeeper.com.  Together, Paul and Michelle have six children and five grandchildren.  She celebrates deliverance from old wounds of abuse from a prior relationship and serves to help others needing recovery as a leader in Celebrate Recovery.  She is pursuing her doctorate in Christian Counseling so she can grow and serve God to uplift others.
