WHO IS JESUS?, a children’s picture book by award-winning author, Dr. MaryAnn Diorio, has been named a finalist in the Children’s Religion Category of the 2015 National Indie Excellence® Awards. Illustrated by Kim Sponaugle, the children’s book that has already been called “a classic in children’s literature” was inspired by the trend of our current culture to draw children away from the truth that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the only way to Heaven. Disturbed by this trend, Dr. Diorio wrote WHO IS JESUS? to counter the deception that is being perpetrated against the historical and Biblical proof about Jesus Christ.
Diorio, who holds several graduate degrees, including the Doctorate of Philosophy degree, the Master of Fine Arts degree and the Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian Counseling, writes for both children and adults. Her books have won numerous awards and are warmly received by parents and grandparents alike.
