Just Ask Jesus: John 14:6 Journal Challenge Day 3

The Lord prompted me to select 10 verses and issue a journaling challenge to ask Jesus to answer questions about these common verses.  I will share only a small segment of what people sent me as a result of this challenge.  Please feel free to ask Jesus these same questions and reply to this post with what Jesus said to you too!  Jesus’ comments will be in italics, as usual.

Day 3

John 14:6  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”                

Jesus, help me understand how you ARE the way?  What does it mean that you ARE the truth and the life? How does this truth lead me to the Father? 

What the Lord said to me (Patty)

I AM the Creator of all things and the source of all things.  I planned from the beginning to create people to fellowship with Me in eternity. 

Jesus is the Truth.  Truth is not a thing to know in your head, but it is ME.  To know Me personally is to know the Truth.  Jesus came to show you in the flesh how to live a life of intimacy with Me.

Jesus is the Way.  Jesus, the Truth leads you to the Way to Eternal Life.  We revealed all that was needed to be able to find the Truth, follow the way, and live the Life through Jesus’ life, death resurrection and by the Holy Spirit in your heart.  

Jesus is the Life.  It’s about the journey, not the destination.  Your growing daily close to Me by the power of the Holy Spirit is the LIFE.  And the choices you make in this life reflect the blessings you will receive in the next life.  I created you as an eternal spiritual being.  To live with Me forever.

What the Lord said to Evelyn

Dear Yeshua, Jesus, help me understand how you ARE the way?

My child, I was with Adam and Eve at the beginning of my creation and the Israelites too, but they chose to rebel against Me. I Fathered them so closely yet they choose to walk away from Me. Even my trusted angel, Lucifer wanted to be above Me. The Israelites rejected Me and desired for a human king.

The world is full of people going astray from you, wicked hearts and even rejected you. What does it mean that you ARE the truth and the life?

I showed you the way to overcome this world. You can walk in the Truth and the life with the Holy Spirit of honesty, love, peace, and purity according to my Words. I have walked with the world, when you learn My ways, I will be the truth and the life because your spirit will be aligned to Mine. You have the peace that I give you.  The world does not provide you this peace.   

How does this truth lead me to the Father?

When you have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, then you will have a relationship with my Father. I give you eternal life that is your spirit will be in Heaven with my Father. You receive the promises when you walk in the truth.

I understand that the Father in Heaven is seeking  my heart to worship Him in Your name and not by my own ways. I have love and guidance to navigate in this world in Him. Thank you, Lord Yeshua for coming down to sacrifice for us, to show us how we can overcome the world, and to give us a hope for living in this fallen world.
